Full Time | Ophthalmology Practice
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our busy ophthalmology practice – someone who enjoys working with patients, is detail-oriented, and works well as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
-Intake and preparing patients for ophthalmic examinations
-Obtaining medical history, medications, and chief complaints
-Performing visual acuity and other basic ophthalmic testing
-Assisting physicians with patient examination and procedures
-Documenting patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
-Assisting with patient calls, scheduling, and other office duties as needed
-Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
-Cross-training in ophthalmic testing, clinical procedures, patient communication, and other aspects of the practice
Qualifications:
-Medical Assistant certification or training preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply
-Previous ophthalmology experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
