EVO Visian ICL, also called an Implantable Collamer® Lens, is a refractive implant designed to correct common vision problems such as myopia (nearsightedness), with or without astigmatism.
Unlike some other vision correction options, EVO Visian ICL is an additive technology that corrects vision without removing corneal tissue.
EVO Visian ICL is intended to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses and contact lenses. Unlike many permanent refractive solutions, EVO Visian ICL is removable by your doctor, providing an additional option for patients who may prefer a reversible approach.
Is EVO Visian ICL Right for Me?
EVO Visian ICL is well-suited for a wide variety of patients. Ideal candidates are generally between the ages of 21 and 45, have nearsightedness with or without astigmatism, and have maintained a stable prescription for at least one year.
